How much does a website cost in Cyprus? What actually affects the price

Ask five web designers in Cyprus for a quote and you'll often get five very different numbers. That isn't always because someone is overcharging: the word "website" covers anything from a single page to a full online shop. Here's what really drives the price, so you can compare quotes properly.

1. How many pages you need

A one-page site with your services, photos, opening hours and contact details is the simplest option, and for many small businesses it's enough. Each extra page (about, individual services, gallery, team, blog) adds design and writing time.

2. Custom design or a template

A template is a ready-made design shared by many businesses. It's quicker and cheaper, but your site will look like others and is harder to change. A custom design is made around your brand and your customers, which takes more time but usually works better at turning visitors into enquiries.

3. Features

Features are where prices jump the most. Common ones:

  • Online booking (or a button linked to Fresha, Booksy or similar)
  • Greek and English versions
  • Table reservations or an enquiry form
  • An online shop with payments
  • A member area or anything custom

Ask yourself which features will actually bring you customers in the first year, and start with those.

4. Who provides the content

Good photos and clear text make a bigger difference than most people expect. If you already have them, the job is faster. If the designer has to write the text or organise photos, that's extra work, and it's worth it if your own material isn't strong.

5. Costs that come after launch

A website isn't only a one-off cost. Make sure you know about:

  • Your domain name (the address, renewed every year)
  • Hosting (keeping the site online)
  • Updates, security and small changes
  • Advertising budget, if you run ads, which is paid to Meta or Google on top of any management fee

How to compare quotes

Before you choose, ask every designer the same questions:

  • Is the price fixed, or charged by the hour?
  • How many rounds of changes are included?
  • Will I own the website, the design and the domain?
  • Can I update text and photos myself?
  • What happens after launch, and what does it cost?
  • Can I see a design before I commit?

Be careful with offers that are much cheaper than the rest (they often mean a template with little support) and with any setup where you don't own your own site or domain.

Our approach

At Zenvyro we give every business a fixed price after a free call, based on what it actually needs, with no hourly billing. And before you pay anything, we design your homepage for free, so you can see exactly what you'd be getting.
